A Blog of Some Sort

This is a blog where I'm just gonna be talking about random things. Really that's about all I'm gonna do. Some of this stuff you might know, some probably not. Don't like, don't read, see if I care.

The most accomplished thing I have done this whole freakin summer.

Raise your hand if you know what a kiwi is. No, not that stupid fruit, the bird. I take it 90% are confused now. Kiwis are, yes, a fruit, but they're also a bird from New Zealand. I'm annoyed with having to explain myself every time someone asks me, "Why would you want to cuddle one?"

So for this week this summer, I have decided to become a vegetarian, to see what it's like, be proud my vegetarian friend, and so far I think I'm doing okay, not as bad as yesterday when I ate pepperoni pizza and meat for dinner.... It's not that hard to be a vegetarian for me, cause I mainly eat spaghetti and rice.

The school year is starting soon! I'm anticipating it, but not really excited for it, if it makes any sense. I'm a freshman this upcoming year, so that means the grades start counting, but then again, some have already been counting since seventh grade. And the SAT seems like a lot of pressure to me, considering the fact that my parents have already started teaching me about the SAT in eighth grade. And college acceptances, the fact that all these are happening soon kinda freaks me out.

5 Things I Dislike.

1. Coffee, dunno why, can't stand it.

2. The movie, Look Who's talking Now, the beginning is freaking creepy.

3. Roller coasters, rode on what I thought was a kiddie roller coaster when I was 9, only to find out it wasn't.

4. People who tell me to shut up in the middle of a class discussion. YOU shut up! This is a CLASS discussion.

5. Scary Movies. They freak the life out of me.

6.I know I said this was 5, but I just watched the Titanic, and it annoyed me, and I dislike it.

5 facts about graceh.

1. I'd want to be a doctor, but I'd rather be a singer because I'd be able to dress the way I'd like. If I were a doctor, no patient would trust a doctor with blue hair.

2. I like Snoopy, not the Peanuts gang, but just Snoopy.

3. If I had 100 bucks, I'd probably blow it off on graphic tees.

4. I judge a lot of bands by their music videos, not their music. I'm still trying to figure out why.

5. I read any version of Yahoo!News that's in English.

Wow, summer's actually really boring. There's actually nothing to do. Lack of anything to do is making me lazy, therefore my blog is becoming boring.

While thinking about life in general I have come across several realizations.

The first being that I pretty much, unknowingly, documented my eighth grade year.
The second being that detention is still unfair, and then I wrote a letter as to why I thought it was unfair, the teacher commented and said that while I was correct it was rude, so she pretty much agreed that I was right and she was wrong.
The third being I have no life if I ended up documenting my entire eighth grade year in a blog.

Last Day of School: Well, I wasn't there.

My Last Day of School: Well, it felt like it was any other normal day of school, except we had exams. I don't see why the last day of school is that bad, we're all just going to the same school next year, unless someone moves or goes to a private school...then, we'll either miss them or forget that they ever exsisted.

Summer Vacation (Taiwan): Well, I'm spending my summer break currently in Taiwan. I've talked to my cousin about the social differences here and I find it quite intriguing. For instance if you were to get brown highlights, you'd be sent to the principal's office. Pierced ears in America is considered normal, but here you'd be considered rebellious. Other than that, I mean it's not that bad here, except for the heat. Yep, the heat's pretty bad.

So, cause I'm a kid and I think school is sorta communistic. I think there needs to be a change. I'd love to see it if there were a way we could make our own school, as in like we put up the rules, wether we rule (school wise) if that's okay or not. Seriously, it'd be like a sorta exclusive school, not really, but a small population. So I think it would work. I think they should let kids vote for judges, like in the supreme court, the nine people? Yea, sorta like that. Then when you have conflicts like whether or not something would be allowed I think if someone wants to take it to the student court it should be allowed. And, I also think the school should have like only ten kids in each class, I think it'd be more productive if people could actually talk more, and since no one really even reads this, but I'm afraid to speak up in class sometimes, like I know that teachers will tell us that there's no such thing as stupid questions or stupid responses, I just don't really like speaking up, somewhere inside I just think people are gonna laugh at me. If you only had 10 kids in a class where the discussion is led by the kids, I think you would actually get more done than a teacher with 32 kids trying to get them to hush up and focus. I also think there should be a government, or not exactly a student council, not like how schools do it, but a government, it would be run by the kids, there would also be laws to change and review, for example if kids want to change the rule that kids should be allowed to wear tank tops less than 3 finger-tip length, I think it should be allowed. That's all.

Pirates of the Caribbean:So I finally did one of the things on my sorta bucket list...I saw the all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies,at least all that are out at present time, all in one day. Can I get an up top? But, honestly I'm starting to think that the movies are all just one giant seduction game...I mean really have you seen the movies? They spend like half of it trying to seduce somebody to get something.

Yearbooks:Ahh, yearbook signing time, my favorite time of the year, ha, no not really. But my one observation about this time is the fact that guys, well almost all except for close guy friends, ususally just sign their name, girls, most at least, will leave a little message like "OMG, class was great this year. Have a great summer!!!! I'll see you next year!!!" But I'm just wondering why? What makes the difference?

The Rapture: Well since it's May 23rd, I get a feeling the rapture wasn't on the 21st or obviously I don't think I would be alive...or maybe this is all just an illusion...

So ya know for the last couple of months or so I've been on the mock trial team at my school. It was well...interesting. First off we spent a couple of months, that I will never get back in my life, preparing for the mock trial. Eventually we did get better we learned how to figure out how to object and what types of questions were leading. And so then the competition day came around. Yesterday, I might add. The first round was okay but the second round was even better, the major witness for the defense flubbed up and told us that he was just plain drunk that night. And kept objecting that we weren't allowed to bring up other stuff outside of what was given, ha, puh-lease give me a break. Third round was where we had some troubles. The other side told us that we weren't allowed to talk to our team members and they told us about a rule packet involving that and this is the part where I directly quote what happened.

Other side: Your honor it says here directly in the rules packet that note passing is not allowed, that is if you have the most recent packet.
My side: Your honor, they have the 2010 year packet, I believe the year is 2011?

Wow. Way to look stupid. Then after that the world conspired to hate me and made me lose my voice, halfway through questioning a witness. Fan-freaking-tabulous. Then the freaking witness had to make it worse by asking me to keep repeating what I was asking cause "she couldn't understand" wow, what bull. Word of advice if you really wanted to act as if you didn't understand, say it without a smirk on your face. We didn't make it to the final round, but I still think we did decently okay.

So I was talking with my friend just this day when I came up with some pretty cool ideas about TV shows. Here's some of my thoughts.

EXTREME Marriages
Think about it. It'd be pretty awesome to see people married in extreme situations, like skydiving or on the middle of an island surrounded by sharks. I think it'd be an awesome show to watch just to see what they're doing and how they'd get married with sharks all around you. That's actually not that bad of an idea, I want sharks at my wedding now.

Middle School Reality
Since obviously there are people willing to sit around and watch the Kardashians, why not watch middle schoolers? You'd be surprised how much crap goes on around school. Combined that with newfangled inventions such as the internet and cells and texting there can be a lotta stuff going on. Honestly not the best idea, and it'd sorta provide a slanted view on middle school life, but with enough drama, it'd be a pretty good show.
